How To Use A Triangle Pillow?
The typical pillow form comes in either a square or rectangle shape. So you are probably surprised and maybe a little confused when you come across a triangle pillow. Thinking to yourself-What is it used for? Is a Thai triangle pillow the same? Where might I get a triangle pillow form? Don't let all these thoughts on a this type pillow scare you away from branching out from that regular pillow form.
It just so happens these pillows are quite popular in the realm of décor. They are the newest member to the pillow clan along with the sphere and cube pillow forms. They can spruce up any arrangement of throw pillows with the addition of whichever creative pillow cover you are feeling. If a set of pillows is really in the need of some sprucing up, try adding beads or tassels to the three corners of the pillow. That will for sure catch people's eyes and add just the right amount of exotic flare to your room.
If home décor isn't really the main concern at this point in your life, looking more for practicality, well you will still be satisfied with the addition of a triangle pillow to your home. They are perfect for a child's playroom or a teenager's dorm room. The fun geometric shape makes for a great cushiony toy for the toddlers or an edgy design for the teenagers dorm. Plain and simple, you will be adding a little spunk to the typical pillow shape.
Then there is this idea of the Thai triangle pillow which is much different than the type of triangle pillow form we have been talking about. It is used throughout Thai homes as an alternative form of seating when space is limited or merely decoration when not in use. The pillow forms are designed to be bent into different positions depending on the preference of each individual. Do they want to recline? Or do they want to sit straight? They are often used at a meal when sitting at a low table. Many retailers now carry a Thai Triangle style cushion.
Obviously the simple triangle shape pillow and the Thai pillow have similarities such as the choice of different sizes, unlimited possibilities for the colors and designs, and ultimately the versatility of such a unique pillow.
finding a triangle pillow insert form already made is extremely hard as it is not a common size used in home décor. Luckily DOWNLITE carries triangle pillow forms in 3 sizes perfect to suit your needs. Not only do they carry triangles but they have other novelty shapes including sphere balls and cubes. So the next time you need to decorate your couch try some novelty styles which are sure to start a conversation.

OLSAT and Stanford-Binet Test Preparation
A common question that appears on Stanford-Binet test assesses your child's thinking, memory, and expressive language skills. This test is often used across the country to qualify children for gifted and talented or GATE program admissions. The child is shown a picture and is asked, tell me what is happening in this picture? What else? In this video, my dogs Olive and Bronco are acting out a little story. Watch it with your child and read the words. Then ask her, "What is happening?" "Can you tell me more?"
The Otis-Lennon School Ability Test (OLSAT) assesses your child's language and memory skills. This test is also used across the country to qualify children for gifted and talented or GATE program admissions. The child is shown a photo or drawing of three dogs (for example). One is named "Boo," one is named "Ga Ga," and the other is "Luna." The child is told that Boo enjoys chasing cats, Ga Ga enjoys eating bugs, and Luna enjoys digging. Then the child is asked, "What does Ga Ga enjoy?" "What does Boo enjoy?" "What does Luna enjoy?" The child has to listen carefully because the question can't be repeated (since receptive language and memory skills are being assessed).
In this video, my dogs Olive and Honey act out a little story. As your child watches this video, read the words to him. Then, ask him the questions below to see if he was paying attention: [note: if you don't have the video and would like to see it, visit http://testingforkindergarten.com/?p=280]
1. What is the name of the black dog? Bronco
2. What is the name of the white dog? Honey
3. What do these two dogs like to do together? Kiss
4. What shape does Honey like to walk in? Circle
5. When Honey walks in a circle, how does she feel? Happy
6. How many kisses did Bronco give Honey in the video? 6
7. Does Honey walk in a straight line when she's happy? No.
Can you draw a straight line on this piece of paper?
8. Does Honey walk in a square when she's happy? No.
Can you draw a square on this piece of paper? (If your child can't do this, draw 4 dots for her to connect)
9. Does Honey walk in a triangle when she's happy? No.
Can you draw a triangle on this piece of paper? (If your child can't do this, draw 3 dots for her to connect)
10. Does Honey walk in a circle when she's happy? YES!
Can you draw a circle on this piece of paper?

All About Mounting Boards
All About Mounting Boards
Mounting has become a huge part of the printing and imaging industry. In this in-depth analysis we will review a variety of different mounting boards so that you can make an informed decision as to which one is right for you.
Foam Board:
Foam Board is the most common mounting board in the market today. Made of 3/16" thick foam board, these boards are sturdy enough to stand on their own for presentations and shows. Different styles of Foam Board include plain foam board, heat activated foam board, self-stick foam board, biodegradable foam board, and pouch boards. All styles are available in each black or white, as well as a variety of sizes to fit your exact needs. If you need a size that is not standard, that is no problem, because foam board can be custom cut to fit your needs.
Gatorfoam Gator Board:
Gatorfoam Gator Board is a durable board that resists dents and punctures. Gator Board is great for when you need more stability than the standard Foam Board. Gator Boards are known for their stability and durability, all compacted into a 3/16" thick board -- that is the same thickness as standard foam board. Gator Boards are also available in thicker formats. Gator Board is great for presentations that will be handled often, or for documents that need the extra strength to hold up against unforeseen conditions.
Rhino Board:
Rhino Board, also known as Ryno Board, is the toughest Mounting Board available. Rhino Mounting Board is 1/4" thick and is known for it's super heavy duty structure. Rhyno Board is great when used where flat surfaces and extra strength is required, such as being used without easels or in a crowded space. Available in black or white.
Self-Stick Mounting Board:
Self Stick Mounting Board allows for mounting your items without and hot mounting or laminating equipment. Boards feature a cold adhesive that is pressure sensitive so all you need to do is peel the cover, line up your print, and press down (or use a small hand roller, called a brayer). Choose from 3/16" Foam Board, 3/16" Heavy Duty Gator Board, & 1/16" Photo Mounting Mat Board.
Pouch Board:
Pouch Boards are constructed from heat-activated foam boards with a film laminate hinged to the top of each board to form a pouch. Mount and laminate in a single step, by sliding a print between the board and film, then feeding it through a heated roll laminator. Choose from Foam Board, Ryno Board, Gator Board, & Paper Board.
One Pass Thin Mounting Board:
One Pass Thin Mounting Boards are constructed of 25 Mil thick white paper board and feature a low temperature heat activated adhesive. These Thin Mounting Boards are rigid enough to stand on an easel, but thin enough for transporting several pieces to a presentation with ease.
